To avoid stickiness when applying the gel on the dual forms, you can dip your brush in a slip solution or use 70% isopropyl alcohol. Basecoats can also be used instead of alcohol or slip solution.

I had to refile my thumb and index fingers- but I want you to see how easy it is to fix your own mistakes. The product is good- anyone who complains didn’t do it correctly. I did file the top my nail before applying for better adhesion.

I have done acrylic, dipping powder, and good ol’ natural nail painting…not my best. This method is a lot more beginner friendly and looks pretty good. Only flubbed on my thumb, it’s gonna happen haha

Give yourself plenty of time when you start this. It’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it, how to spread the gel, how much you need for each nail all that jazz. It definitely takes some getting used to but I’ve done my own acrylic before many years ago and I can tell you there is much more margin for error with this kit. Just don’t go into this thinking it’s going to be as simple as the TikTok videos make it seem. 😊

First off I am very impressed because I was thinking this was going to be really difficult and I'd mess it up and be screwed for a while but it was actually way more straightforward and easier than I expected. They seem sturdy so far like acrylic nails, done dishes and typing and hasn't come off or chipped if you apply it correctly (don't forget to use the base or it will come right off). Easy enough to file down once set. Was super excited to find something I can do at home that normally costs $50+ at a salon. I can see it becoming even more easy the more I do it too.

As an absolute beginner, this takes me about about an hour to do a full set. I have found my nails last longer if I squeeze the gel directly on my nail and use the form to press it into place, rather than brushing it directly into the forms. I get a week before they start lifting. That's pretty good as I'm super rough on my nails.

I am not a nail tech. I’m not very good at stuff like this and I have shaky hands but these came out so good!! And this is only my second time using poly gel! They are as hard as acrylic, nobody “accidentally” cut me with a drill or nail file, and I didn’t have to pay $60 for crappy nails. I will NEVER go back to a nail salon!

I have used several brands of polygel but i like these colors the best. Its Super sticky though so if you’ve gotten in the habit of cleaning off Your brush after putting it in the solution you will need to change your habits a bit for this product. The brush needs to stay wet

I'm loving these colors! I did find it easier to use base gel instead of slip solution with this set. The glitters are gorgeous and the shimmer blue is breath taking!
